I ordered the Oetikers online and thought they were the screw type clamps, but they are the crimp ones. These seem to be the very clamps on my hose right now that are terrible at keeping.

Posted January 27, 2014. If you take an icepick or similar tool and stick it in the crimped part of the ear and then move it from side to side it will open up the clamp enough remove the hose. At least this is how I've removed the clamps in the past without anything breaking. Link to comment.
